Looking back @ 2010

A new decade,a new year,a new start, a new life....looking back at 2010 its one of the blessed year for me....the year where I started a new journey, one of more responsibilities, sharing, caring etc etc.

The fag end of 2010 had been a stressful one,I had the fear of missing my own wedding, times of despair,hoplessness...but as usual GOD carried me all through this struggles. It started off with my passport,I was without my passport for almost 3 months and 6 days before my wedding.UKBA and my company made unusual delays and last minute hiccups and worries, or is it GOD's way of reminding me son..you have forgotten me...all I could do the 2 weeks were pray pray pray and cry...

I couldnt share it with my parents or relatives,as it would put them under more pressure on top of the marriage preperations.Jesus never disappoints you, though you will can never predict His way of doing things.....He does it in the supernatural way...He did intervene and my Visa case officer dispatched the Visa and passport in time.GOD is always faithful...he intervenes for us and makes things straight for us.
Once things are happy and rosy we get back to being unfaithful and put Jesus in the backseat.....thts human nature...how bad it hurts Jesus.

Passport happiness was shortlived.....the worst snow in 100 yrs hit UK and worlds busiest airport Heathrow shuts down.....no inbound or outbound flights....this was just 3 days before my travel.....the weather got worse and worse...and my marriage was a week away....i often kicked myself for not giving enough days gap for my marriage and travel. All I did was cry and pray......many friends, relatives and well wishers prayed for me....everytime I visit heathrow website theres always status updates of flight cancellations and worse weather conditions......

Thanks to Indian TV channels exaggerating the news back home......the whole fmly and relatives panicked and talks of cancelling the marriage went around.....I jus couldnt think of such an embarassing situation. And as usual GOD intervened weather started to clear just 1 day before my travel and flights started to operate at normal....there is no words to explain His might and love...and all I can say is thanks to GOD Almighty....coz He is great.....often Atheists and non-believers question the existense of GOD....its personal experiences like this that shows and there is GOD who listens to you when we run to HIM.

Someday I’ll look back at this blog and laugh about it. To see, how much I went through, and how much it made me stronger than before and how much I am indebted to GOD Almighty
