War & Destruction: Mysteries of Isaiah 17
I recently came across this Bible Study accidentally while browsing through YouTube. Pastor Kevin Lea of Calvary Church of Port Orchard, explains the unfulfilled prophecies and why he feels that now is the most opportune time for these prophecies to be fulfilled. Though the video was from 2010, the events in the last 5 years sure points to the events sure makes this an interesting read/watch. The rapidly changing Middle East conflicts and the Isaiah 17 prophecy just goes on to reinforce the power of the words of the Bible. The future is foretold some 3000 years back for us.

Be Still,GOD will fight for you
Another testimony & another promise God delivered.
I was going through an uncertain moment professionally, I wasn't sure if I will get what I deserve. And the scenarios, situations folding around me were totally against me and my blessing. As I was reading God's word during my everyday bus travel, GOD gave this promise Exodus 14:14.
The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." Usually I doubt, complain, worry and get into a shell. But this time God helped me with the following
1. Strengthened my faith
2. Not complain
3. Be still
4.Count my blessing
5. Thank God for my blessing.
6.Confess & Claim the promise
Jus try it out it works.
Two months down and today I write this blog with gratitude, GOD intervened and blessed me with more than what I deserve. All Glory to God Almighty.

People Who Inspired me-Gladys Staines
Who is Gladys Staines?
Gladys Staines is the widow of Australian missionary Graham Staines. Graham Staines was burnt alive along with their two sons Philip (aged 9) and Timothy (aged 7) in Orissa, India on 22 January 1999.Shortly after the sentencing of the killers, Gladys issued a statement saying that she had forgiven the killers and had no bitterness towards them.In 2004, she decided to return to Australia to stay with her daughter and father. She however said that she would continue to look after the people she and her husband had been looking after so far. In 2005, she was awarded the Padma Shri, a civilian award from the Government of India
"Because of forgiveness I hold no bitterness towards the persons who killed my family".
"God in Christ has forgiven me and expects His followers to do the same. The Bible says: "To whomsoever you forgive their sins will be forgiven". Therefore, in the light of eternity we all need forgiveness of our sins to enter heaven,'' Ms. Staines said

They shall walk in His name
I was going through a tough phase in life, so difficult anxious moments in the fmly. Fear & doubt gripped and faith was at its low. I was just praying and going through my normal work and this particular verse jus struck me and it exactly described the situation I was in and the verse and the pic comforted me so much
So I will strengthen them in the Lord, And they shall walk up and down in His name,”Says the Lord. Zech 10:12
The word strengthened me so much that I have faith God will strengthen her and in Jesus name she will walk. All glory to God.

People That Inspired Me-Dr. Kent Brantly
The other day I was watching CNN, press conference by Dr. Kent Brantly( the first person to survive Ebola virus in US) after being discharged from hospital. Just a touching testimony and giving glory to the Almighty Father.Dr. Kent Brantly is a medical missionary working in West Africa doing God's work
What striked me most from his press conference ?
- I prayed that God would help me to be faithful even in my illness, and I prayed that in my life or in my death, He would be glorified.
- I can tell you is that I serve a faithful God who answers prayers.
- I am forever thankful to God for sparing my life and am glad for any attention my sickness has attracted to the plight of West Africa in the midst of this epidemic. Please continue to pray for Liberia and the people of West Africa, and encourage those in positions of leadership and influence to do everything possible to bring this Ebola outbreak to an end.
I just pray that God raises more such powerful testimonies, so that the world knows that He is a faithful God who answers prayers
